How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us.
SOLES BY OLE'S EMPIRE LTD ("SOLES", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website at www.solesempire.com.ng or contact us, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.
We process personal data in line with applicable Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Information you give us
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect:
- your full name, email address and phone number;
- your company or organisation name, if you choose to provide it;
- the service you are interested in, the subject and the content of your message; and
- your confirmation that you agree to this policy for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.
When you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share, along with your phone number or email address.
Information collected automatically
- Security cookie. When you open our contact page, our server sets a single session cookie that is strictly necessary to protect the enquiry form against forged submissions. It contains no personal profile and expires when you close your browser.
- Abuse prevention. To prevent spam and repeated automated submissions, our server temporarily records a one-way hashed form of your IP address and the time of submission. This record is deleted automatically after a short period.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of each request, for security and operational purposes.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website. If we introduce website analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
3. How we use your information
- to respond to your enquiry and provide information you have requested;
- to prepare proposals and deliver services you engage us for;
- to keep records of our communications and agreements;
- to protect our website and enquiry form from misuse; and
- to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unsolicited marketing.
4. Legal basis
We process your information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit the enquiry form), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing our website and business.
5. How your enquiry is delivered
Enquiry form submissions are transmitted securely to our server and delivered by authenticated email to our company mailbox. Our website and email are hosted by third-party service providers who process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.
6. Third-party services
Our website contains links to third-party services such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. When you follow these links, the relevant provider's own privacy policy applies. We do not embed these services on our pages, so no information is shared with them unless you choose to use them.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and, where you become a client, for the duration of our relationship and any period required for legal, accounting or record-keeping purposes. Abuse-prevention records are kept only briefly and deleted automatically.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side validation, protection against forged form submissions, and restricted access to company mailboxes. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information where we no longer need it;
- restrict or object to certain processing; and
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

10. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
